Agreements and rules
EOA-Velp is open to any student, belief or religion. We require all students and staff to interact and get to know each other better with respect for each other's person, belief, religion, origin, sexual orientation or gender. All this in a pleasant, familiar atmosphere where we assume that the coming together of many different views and cultures, is an enrichment of each individual and also a good preparation for society. In society, too, our students come into contact with many diverse people.
Safety
To work well, everyone must feel at home in school. The school must be safe. Safe so that everyone can be themselves and not be afraid or feel insecure. In addition, students and staff must also feel physically safe. About 30% of the school's staff have taken a course in emergency response. They can administer first aid in case of accidents and are trained to evacuate the building in case of emergencies.
What are the ground rules in the school?
- Respect each other. Contribute to everyone enjoying going to school every day and being respected.
- Respect the environment (in and around the school). Make sure everyone can feel comfortable in a clean and safe environment. This includes respect for each other's property.
- Respect work atmosphere and work ethic. Help ensure that everyone can work as well as possible in a peaceful environment.
- Respect agreements made. Good cooperation succeeds only when everyone keeps agreements made.
- Respect your health. The school wants to contribute to the well-being and health of its students and staff. Therefore, there are rules against the use of alcohol, tobacco/ vaping and drugs.
